Our Story:
We’re a dreamt up mom ’n’ pop shop BBQ shack. The idea started when Jasper Woods worked as a kid at the local BBQ restaurant in northern Alabama. It was just an after school and weekend job. The job was to help pay the electric bill and buy some groceries for the rundown log cabin home that housed 3 generations of Woods family. Jasper and his family were poor, but didn’t go hungry. There’s a large bundle of recipes the Woods family passed down to Jasper. So it was natural to learn the tradition of low and slow BBQ while testing new recipes for sauces and rubs to create original flavors with traditional techniques. A lot of things have changed since Jasper stopped working at that northern Alabama BBQ restaurant, but his love for flavorful food and sharing it with others hasn’t changed. Never will.
